This project for Van Mal Group and NSW National Parks involved an upgrade to the visitor carpark and picnic facilities at Mount Canobolas.
The scope of works included:

<li>Erosion and sediment control</li>
<li>Demolition of existing pavements and structures</li>
<li>Site clearance, stockpile and preparation</li>
<li>Bulk earthworks</li>
<li>Installation of pavement including sub base and base course</li>
<li>Installation of concrete bases, picnic tables, etc.</li>
<li>Stormwater including swale and v-drains</li>
<li>Linemarking and bollards</li>
</ul>
An important component of this project was complying with and respecting Aboriginal cultural heritage legislation. Works were completed in stages to allow Aboriginal representatives to inspect and ensure that any artefacts of significance were identified and properly handled. This process is crucial for respecting and preserving Aboriginal cultural heritage.
