 This project for Aurecon involved civil works to Dight Street between the RAAF base front entry and hospital. Green Civil Australia was engaged to complete the vertical re-alignment of the road, reconstruction of a 750m section of road and storm water drainage upgrades and modifications. 
The scope of works included:

<li>Demolition of existing pavements</li>
<li>Bulk earthworks (4,000m3)</li>
<li>Battering and hydroseeding of road edges</li>
<li>Asphalt pavement including subbase, base course and asphalt</li>
<li>Concrete pavement including driveways and pedestrian footpaths</li>
<li>Concrete swale drains</li>
<li>Stormwater including pipe and pit installation</li>
<li>Linemarking</li>
<li>Guardrail Installation</li>
</ul>
With the road needing to remain open 24/7, comprehensive traffic management strategies were essential to reduce delays, particularly during peak entry and exit hours to the base.
