This project for Hindmarsh and CDC involves the construction of four new data centre buildings and an extension to the existing building.

Green Civil Australia is currently delivering the civil works for the Eastern Creek Data Centre project. Our scope of work consists of:

• Demolition of existing structures
• Bulk earthworks for data centre buildings and external pavements (80,000m3)
• Detail excavation for building footings
• Concrete roads - including subgrade, sub-base, base and concrete (15,000m2)
• Asphalt roads - including subgrade, sub-base, base and asphalt (18,000m2)
• Carpark - including subgrade, sub-base, base, asphalt, line marking and signage (7,000m2)
• Kerb only, kerb and gutter, integral kerb, lintels
• Subsoil drainage works
• Piling for 12no. generator pads (140no. piles)
• FRP works for 12no. generator pads
• Piling for boundary precast panels (150no. piles)
• Boundary retaining walls (2,500m2)
• Shoring wall (500no. anchors, 300no. piles, 400lm capping beam, 2,200m2 shotcrete)
• Excavation and FRP works for 150m3 retention tank

Complex project and site management is required due to the sheer number of subcontractors working simultaneously on the ground, underscoring the crucial role each stakeholder plays in the success of this project.
